Vida Addae, a former Parliamentary Candidate for Ejisu and former National Deputy Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has announced her intention to contest for the position of National Vice Chairman of the party.
In a statement, Madam Addae said her decision follows calls from grassroots members, party faithful, and supporters, coupled with personal reflection and consultations with the rank and file of the party.
She said her years of service to the NDC in various capacities have equipped her with the experience and skills needed to contribute to the party’s growth and development.
Madam Addae highlighted her previous roles, including serving as Chapter Chairperson of the NDC in Germany, Parliamentary Candidate for Ejisu, National Deputy Treasurer, and Director of Welfare at the national level.
According to her, her background in grassroots mobilisation, fundraising, supporting party structures, and engaging directly with party members positions her to effectively serve as National Vice Chairman.
“I am of the firm conviction that I have gathered enough experiences to answer the calls to serve once again,” she stated.
She added that her leadership experience would help strengthen the party’s structures and promote its ideology to attract more capable individuals into the NDC.
Madam Addae has therefore appealed to party members and stakeholders for their support as she seeks to become the next National Vice Chairman of the party.
