This was announced in a statement issued by the Ghana Revenue Authority on Monday, February 23, 2026. According to the Authority, the appointment was made by the President of the Republic of Ghana and takes immediate effect.
Mr. Kanor is a seasoned Customs professional with over three decades of experience in revenue mobilisation, border security, and trade facilitation. Until his elevation, he served as Officer in Charge of Port Operations, overseeing enforcement of customs laws, revenue collection, and trade compliance.
