Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang pledged to turn key policy recommendations from the National Economic Dialogue into action. Speaking at the conclusion of the two-day forum themed “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together,” the Vice President underscored the urgent need for a collective effort to drive sustainable economic growth.
The dialogue, which brought together government officials, business leaders, civil society, and development partners, focused on pivotal areas such as macroeconomic stability and infrastructural development. A significant point of discussion was modernizing Ghana’s transport network to boost industrialization, trade, and overall ease of doing business.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their commitment to shaping the nation’s future, Professor Opoku-Agyemang emphasized that the responsibility of economic recovery lies with every Ghanaian. “Our journey to rebuild the economy is a shared mission,” she remarked, urging citizens to engage actively in national development efforts.
