The Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has visited the Accra Digital Centre following flooding that affected parts of the facility after the heavy rainfall on Monday, June 29, 2026.
The visit was aimed at assessing the impact of the flooding and demonstrating government’s commitment to protecting Ghana’s digital infrastructure.
Management of the Accra Digital Centre said technical teams have been working around the clock to restore affected areas and resolve the situation as quickly and safely as possible.
Despite the flooding, the Centre said it remains operational and committed to serving its tenants, business partners and the public while recovery efforts continue.
