The Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Honourable Dr. Terrance Michael Drew, has arrived in Ghana for an official visit running from Tuesday, March 3, to Saturday, March 7, 2026.
During his stay, Prime Minister Drew will attend Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebrations on Friday, March 6.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President, said Dr. Drew and his delegation will begin the official programme on Wednesday with a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, followed by bilateral discussions and an official luncheon at the Presidency.
The visit will also include cultural and historical engagements, with stops at the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial Centre, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the Cape Coast Castle.
Prime Minister Drew will also pay a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi A1a II.
Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis have been actively strengthening bilateral relations through South-South cooperation, focusing on initiatives in education, health, trade, investment, and technology.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu emphasized, “Ghana and Saint Kitts and Nevis continue to deepen ties through collaborative initiatives that promote education, trade, and technological exchange between our countries.”
The visit underscores both nations’ commitment to fostering stronger diplomatic, cultural, and economic partnerships.
