Aspiring National Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has engaged members and leaders of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) at two teacher training institutions in the Oti Region.
Mr. Mintah joined TEIN members at the Dambai College of Education and Jasikan College of Education during their respective handing-over ceremonies.
At Dambai College of Education, the ceremony was attended by the Member of Parliament for Krachi East, Nelson Kofi Djabab, while at Jasikan College of Education, the aspiring NDC National Youth Organiser was joined by the Municipal Chief Executive, Parke-Davis Magyigbe.
The NDC Regional Youth Wing leadership was also present at both events.
The ceremonies provided an opportunity for Mr. Mintah to interact with students, congratulate outgoing TEIN leaders and encourage incoming executives to approach their new responsibilities with commitment and a strong sense of service.
He also reaffirmed the importance of empowering young people to take up leadership roles and contribute meaningfully to the development of the party and the country.
Mr. Mintah’s engagements form part of his broader outreach to young people and party grassroots as he seeks support for his bid to become the NDC’s next National Youth Organiser.
He said continued engagement with students and young party members was essential to building a strong and effective youth wing capable of supporting the party’s development and future political activities.
