The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), under the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment, commences a nationwide monitoring exercise to evaluating innovation and entrepreneurship hubs supported under the Ghana Economic Transformation Project (GETP).
The team will also visit hubs that have applied as training partners for The Adwumawura Programme.
The monitoring team is being led by the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, Hon. George Opare Addo, Esq, and NEIP CEO, Mr. Eric Adjei.

The exercise follows a stakeholder workshop held on Friday, which brought together representatives from the Ministry of Finance, NEIP, and MYDE to finalize a standardized monitoring questionnaire.
On the first day, the team conducted visits to selected innovation hubs across the country. In the Greater Accra Region, the hubs visited included Food Agro Hub in Accra Newtown, Ennovate Hub, Innohub, and iSpace.
The purpose of these visits was to evaluate hub activities, startup engagement, and the utilization of grant support.

Additionally, the team assessed the effectiveness of NEIP’s digital Monitoring and Evaluation system.
The national monitoring continues through August 2, 2025, and is expected to provide critical data to guide policy decisions.
It will also strengthen NEIP’s partnerships with hubs across the country and determine the readiness and capacity of the hubs to serve as trainers under The Adwumawura Programme.
