The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is mourning the loss of Comrade Abednego M. Afleh, the Youth Organizer for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, who passed away on June 5, 2024.
In a press release dated June 6, 2024, and signed by Greater Accra Youth Organizer of the NDC, Amos Blessing Amorse, it was confirmed that Comrade Abednego M. Afleh, affectionately known as Abed, died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after a brief illness.

“The shocking event occurred in the evening of yesterday, June 5, 2024, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital,” stated Mr. Amorse. “Until his death, Abed, as we affectionately called him, was the Youth Organizer for Ningo-Prampram Constituency and Personal Assistant to Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram.”
The NDC has expressed its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Comrade Abednego M. Afleh during this difficult time. His dedication and commitment to the party and his community have left an indelible mark, and he will be sorely missed.
