Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has inaugurated a new nine-member Board of Directors for the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), with a strong call for the board to remain focused on its core mandate—supporting Ghana’s agricultural sector.

The newly constituted board is chaired by financial expert Kenneth Kwamina Thompson. Other members include:
- Edward Ato Sarpong (Managing Director)
- Andrew Dari Chiwitey
- Siisi Essuman-Ocran
- Dr. Prince Arhin
- Misbahu Mahama Adams
- Wing Commander Samuel Allotey
- Courage Akanwunge Asabanga
- Abdul Nasir Saani
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Forson urged the board to be purposeful and strategic in executing their duties, ensuring that the bank remains a pillar in agricultural financing and national development.

He further announced that the government intends to recapitalize ADB next year as part of broader efforts to strengthen the bank’s operations and enhance its impact in the sector.
