A convoy carrying Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Communications Minister Adam Sukparu was involved in a serious road accident early Wednesday on the Bolga–Tumu highway in the Upper East Region.
The ministers were en route on official government business when their vehicle crashed. Sources confirm that both sustained minor injuries and are currently stable under medical supervision.

Emergency responders quickly attended to the scene, and authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. Officials say there were no other casualties.
