The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has revoked the license of Evanex Gold Enterprise, a Tier 2 licensed gold buyer, following findings that the company violated regulations through illegal gold pricing.
In a statement issued on Thursday, August 28, the regulator instructed all licensed traders, miners, and members of the public to immediately cease any gold transactions with Evanex Gold Enterprise.
The suspension is part of GoldBod’s ongoing efforts to maintain integrity, transparency, and accountability within Ghana’s gold sector.
The regulator emphasized that serious breaches like this will not be tolerated and warned that similar violations by other operators would attract prompt sanctions.
GoldBod reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing industry standards and ensuring a fair and well-regulated gold trading environment across the country.
