The Ghana Meological Agency (GMet) is announcing that a weak rainstorm has entered Ghana and is currently producing cloudy conditions accompanied by thunderstorms and rainfall over parts of the extreme eastern coast.
According to GMet, the weather system is expected to bring rain of varying intensity to coastal areas and nearby inland communities from the morning through the afternoon of Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Residents in affected areas have been advised to exercise caution and take the necessary safety precautions as the rainstorm moves across the affected parts of the country.
The public is encouraged to stay alert and avoid activities that could expose them to risks associated with thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
