After careful consideration of the operational and financial impacts for Ghana’s cocoa industry, Ghana COCOBOD has resolved to maintain its current producer price of GHC49,600.00per tonne (GHC 3,100 per bag of 64kg).
In a letter signed by the Acting Deputy Chief Executive, Operations, Dr. James Kutsoati, to the Licensed Cocoa Buyers Association of Ghana, said the decision comes after careful consideration of the operational and financial implications for the cocoa industry.
“Management will however consider the review of producer price fees and margins for stakeholder for the 2025/2026 cocoa season”, the letter added.
