The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced its 2026 enlistment exercise for commissioned officers, with application vouchers set to go on sale from Thursday, September 3.
In a statement, GAF said vouchers for the online application would be available at designated Ghana Post Offices nationwide at a cost of GH¢200.
According to the GAF, the online application portal will be activated on Friday, September 4, 2026, and interested applicants are required to log onto apply.mil.gh to access and complete the application process.
The deadline for submission of completed applications is Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The GAF said the official advertisement for the exercise was published in the Ghanaian Times on Monday, August 31, and in the Daily Graphic on Tuesday, September 1.
The Armed Forces has also urged prospective applicants to rely only on official channels for information about the enlistment exercise.
“The public is strongly encouraged to obtain information on the enlistment exercise only through official GAF social media handles or by contacting 0256 405 104 or WhatsApp 0256 405 154,” the statement said.
According to the GAF, the same contact numbers should be used to report suspected fraudulent activities related to the exercise.
The Armed Forces further cautioned applicants against dealing with individuals who claim to be agents or middlemen.
“The Ghana Armed Forces wishes to emphasise that it does not engage the services of middlemen or agents, nor does it charge any additional fees for enlistment,” the statement said.
“Members of the public are therefore cautioned against making payments to individuals who claim to be agents, middlemen, or representatives of the Ghana Armed Forces.”
The GAF urged members of the public to exercise caution and report any suspected fraudulent activities connected to the enlistment exercise through the designated contact numbers.
