MultiChoice Ghana has rolled out its much-anticipated package upgrades today, October 1, 2025, giving DStv subscribers nationwide access to higher-tier bouquets at no extra cost.
Under the new arrangement, customers on Paddy move to Access, Access subscribers shift to Family, Family to Compact, Compact to Compact Plus, and Compact Plus to Premium.
Even Premium customers are included, with entry into a draw to win trips to selected Premier League matches.
The three-month initiative, allows subscribers who stay connected to enjoy expanded sports, movies, and family content.
MultiChoice Managing Director Alex Okyere said the move reinforces the company’s commitment to affordability and enriching entertainment.
Communications Minister Sam George also described the initiative, coupled with recent subscription price cuts of up to 50%, as a “big win” for Ghanaian consumers.
He said the deal followed strong negotiations to ease the financial burden on households while ensuring access to premium content.
The upgrades will run until December 2025, after which a stakeholder committee will review the packages.
