The false statement, which has gained traction online, asserts that the producer price remains unchanged. However, the Board has confirmed that this document is not genuine. The Public Affairs Directorate emphasized that no formal decision on the producer price has been made, as the necessary governance structures—such as an operational Board of Directors and the yet-to-be-formed Producer Price Review Committee—are not currently in place.
This clarification aims to prevent confusion among stakeholders and the public by reaffirming that any producer price decisions will be communicated solely through official channels once the proper decision-making bodies are established.
