BRUHM, one of Ghana’s leading home appliances and electronics brands, has launched a national campaign dubbed “BRUHM Honours Legends” to celebrate iconic Ghanaian footballers whose contributions helped shape the country’s football heritage.
The campaign, themed “The Men Behind Our Greatest Football Memories,” pays tribute to five legendary figures: Mohammed Polo, Rev. Osei Kofi, Dan Quaye, Ibrahim Sunday, and Nii Odartey Lamptey.
According to BRUHM, the initiative is designed to shift attention from routine football discussions such as match results and transfers to the deeper legacy of players whose sacrifice, discipline, and patriotism laid the foundation for Ghana’s football success.
At the heart of the campaign is a documentary-style film that explores the personal journeys, struggles, achievements, and lasting impact of the featured legends.
The film presents their stories beyond their on-field accomplishments, highlighting their human experiences and influence on generations of football lovers.
Speaking at the launch, BRUHM’s Head of Marketing, Roshanak Taheri, said the campaign seeks to honour the pioneers of Ghanaian football and preserve their legacy for future generations.
She noted that football remains deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture, describing it as a shared experience that connects families, communities, and generations.
Each of the five legends represents a distinct chapter in Ghana’s football history—Mohammed Polo for creativity and flair, Rev. Osei Kofi for discipline and national pride, Dan Quaye for bridging generations of football, Ibrahim Sunday for excellence and inspiration, and Nii Odartey Lamptey for resilience and perseverance.
The campaign also features a digital engagement platform, where fans can explore the stories of the legends and participate in an interactive quiz.
Winners will receive BRUHM appliances, including air fryers, as well as invitations to a closing dinner event featuring the honoured football icons.
BRUHM said the initiative goes beyond celebration, aiming to inspire young footballers and future leaders to embrace values such as discipline, humility, hard work, and resilience.
The company, known for producing home appliances including televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, and kitchen equipment, said the campaign aligns with its commitment to supporting everyday family life and the spaces where memorable moments are created
