In a collaborative effort to promote menstrual hygiene, the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth wing, along with the Coalition of Free SHS Graduates and the First Time Voters Association, commemorated World Menstrual Hygiene Day by distributing sanitary pads to selected Junior High Schools within the Oforikrom Constituency on May 28, 2024.
The beneficiary schools included Anwomaso M/A JHS and Ayigya Nuriya Islamic Basic School. The event featured educational sessions led by nurses and resource persons who provided valuable information on hygiene practices to the students.
