The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB PLC) has marked a major corporate milestone with the unveiling of a new corporate cloth, symbolising the Bank’s legacy, shared values and renewed commitment to excellence as it continues its transformation journey.
The launch, which coincided with the Bank’s annual thanksgiving, formed part of activities commemorating ADB’s evolution over the past 60 years. The cloth reflects ADB’s identity as a trusted financial institution deeply rooted in Ghana’s development agenda.
Designed to embody the Bank’s core values, colours and heritage, the corporate cloth represents unity, pride and a shared sense of purpose among staff, customers and stakeholders.

In brief remarks ahead of the unveiling, Managing Director of ADB, Edward Ato Sarpong, said the new cloth comes with a renewed sense of responsibility to deliver on the Bank’s vision.
“ADB has all the necessary elements and conditions to dominate the sector and be an industry leader, and we are determined to ensure the realisation of this vision in the shortest possible time,” he said.
Launching the cloth, the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Operations, Mrs. Sylvia Naa Kwakai Nyante, said the initiative goes beyond aesthetics and serves as a strong expression of ADB’s culture and collective vision.
“This cloth tells our story, where we have come from, what we stand for, and where we are headed. It reflects our commitment to service, integrity, and our promise of going Beyond Banking,” she said.
Mrs. Nyante explained that the design is anchored on the theme “Flourish & Solid Like a Diamond,” symbolising growth and resilience. She said the “Flourish” concept draws inspiration from flower-like patterns created from the Bank’s wave accent, representing progress and continuous growth, while the tiny diamond shapes embedded in the design signify solidity, endurance and stability—qualities that define ADB’s legacy and future aspirations.
She noted that the unveiling also underscores ADB’s appreciation of its employees, whose dedication has been central to the Bank’s longevity and success. According to her, the introduction of a refreshed corporate cloth after several years is expected to strengthen staff cohesion and reinforce a strong, recognisable brand identity.

In line with its “Beyond Banking” corporate tagline, Mrs. Nyante said ADB remains committed to innovation, while preserving its institutional heritage for sustainable growth.
“The corporate cloth therefore stands as a visual reminder of the Bank’s transformation journey and its ongoing efforts to support individuals, businesses, and communities across Ghana,” she stated.
She further disclosed that the cloth was designed internally by the Unit Head in charge of creatives within the Marketing and Communications Department, Ms. Abigail Amo-Tweneboah, “reflecting not only creativity, but also the depth of talent we continue to nurture within the Bank.”
For her part, the Acting Head of Human Resources, Mrs. Abena Abrefi Antwi, described the new corporate cloth as a symbol of shared identity among staff and a reflection of the Bank’s commitment to its people.
“This corporate cloth represents more than a design; it reflects our collective values, our resilience as a workforce, and the culture we continue to build together. After over five years without a corporate cloth, its introduction is a meaningful moment to us, reinforcing who we are as one ADB family,” she said.
She added that the initiative aligns with ADB’s people-first philosophy and Beyond Banking promise, which places employees and customers at the centre of organisational growth.
