The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has apprehended six individuals linked to a robbery and gang rape syndicate operating in Juaso, Ashanti Region. The arrests, carried out on 8 January 2026, were part of an intelligence-led operation.
The suspects—David Adusah (Vibes), Samuel Amantor (Road), Andrew Odei (Salinco), Sharif Mohammed (Isco), Joseph Addo (Moves), and Chidi Arinze (Orga Happiness)—confessed to their roles during police interrogations.

Police recovered several items during searches of the suspects’ homes, including forty-nine mobile phone covers, a bayonet case, a green dress resembling a military uniform, and a photograph of the alleged leader in military-style camouflage.
A Toyota RAV4 reportedly used by the group in their criminal activities was also seized.

The suspects appeared in court on 12 January 2026 and were remanded in custody, with a hearing scheduled for 28 January 2026 as investigations continue.
The Ghana Police Service has assured the public that all those involved in the case will face the full force of the law.
