Damang Gold Mine Limited has marked its 2025/2026 National Service Week with a series of activities aimed at promoting professional development, teamwork and community impact.

The week-long celebration, held from October 26 to 30, 2026, was organised under the theme, “Leaving a Lasting Impact Through Service and Community Development.”

Activities included career development and knowledge-sharing sessions, as well as community outreach programmes designed to support education and inspire young people.

As part of the outreach activities, the National Service Personnel undertook a clean-up exercise at Subri T.I. Ahmadiyya Basic School.

They also donated educational materials and computers to the school and Nyamebekyere Basic School to support teaching and learning.

The personnel further engaged pupils in mentorship sessions aimed at inspiring their educational and career aspirations.

The celebration also provided an opportunity to recognise the dedication and contributions of the National Service Personnel during their placement at the mine.

According to Damang Gold Mine, the activities highlighted the importance of young professionals in the workplace and their potential to contribute meaningfully to the development of host communities.

The programme also offered personnel an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge and experience gained during their service while strengthening teamwork and professional relationships.

Damang Gold Mine expressed appreciation to the National Service Personnel and all individuals who supported the successful organisation of the week’s activities.
