The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah , has praised Umaru Sanda for his remarkable journey from the cattle fields of Asutsuare Junction in the Eastern Region to becoming a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
In a congratulatory message, Mr Debrah described Mr Sanda’s achievement as an inspiring testimony to the power of determination, hard work and perseverance.
He said the journey demonstrated that a person’s future should not be determined by their place of birth or humble beginnings, but by their willingness to work towards their ambitions.
“From the cattle fields of Asutsuare Junction to the robes of a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana is indeed a remarkable journey,” he said.
The Chief of Staff described Mr Sanda’s story as a national statement, showing that determination and commitment can overcome limitations imposed by one’s circumstances.
Mr Debrah also highlighted the significance of the launch of a foundation alongside Mr Sanda’s professional milestone.
He said the two developments represented complementary achievements: one celebrating personal advancement and the other demonstrating a commitment to giving back to the community.
“Today we celebrate two victories at once: a lawyer is born, and a foundation is launched. One is about rising. The other is about reaching back,” he stated.
He described the combination of professional excellence and community service as a meaningful expression of success, particularly when individuals remember and support the communities that contributed to shaping their lives.
Mr Debrah said Mr Sanda’s journey should serve as encouragement to young people across the country, especially those from modest backgrounds, that their beginnings do not have to determine how far they can go.
