The Member of Parliament for Ketu North in the Volta Region, Edem Agbana, has announced plans to organise a large-scale medical outreach in December, targeting more than 40,000 constituents.
The initiative, which the MP described as one of the biggest medical outreaches to be organised in the constituency, has been in preparation for the past three months.
In announcing the programme, Mr. Agbana expressed appreciation to the team working behind the scenes, praising its young, talented and dedicated members for their commitment to making the initiative possible.
He said preparations were progressing towards what he described as a remarkable healthcare intervention for residents of Ketu North.
The MP also indicated that further details on how individuals and organisations can support the initiative would be announced shortly.
Certified medical professionals interested in volunteering are also expected to receive information on how to participate.
The planned outreach is expected to provide an opportunity for residents to access medical services, although the specific services, locations and schedule are yet to be announced.
