An aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has pledged to work with the rank and file of the party to build a stronger and more formidable youth wing ahead of the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the NDC must intensify its grassroots organisation and remain focused on delivering results as it prepares for the next general election.
Mr Mintah said his approach would be centred on organisation, hard work and effective mobilisation of the youth across the country.
“While others sleep, we will organize; while others complain, we will deliver,” he stated.
He expressed confidence that sustained grassroots mobilisation would translate into a decisive electoral victory for the NDC in 2028.
“When the final votes are counted, the victory will be so clear, so undeniable, that the whole nation will see that the NDC is the only home for Ghanaian youth,” he said.
Mr Mintah’s comments form part of his campaign to become the next National Youth Organizer of the NDC, as the party prepares to elect new national executives in December 2026 ahead of the 2028 elections.
He said the youth wing would play a critical role in mobilising young Ghanaians and strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots.
He pledged to work with party members to create a vibrant and effective youth structure capable of advancing the NDC’s electoral ambitions in 2028.
