The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Eric Adjei, has supported the Sampa Government Hospital with essential medical equipment and supplies to strengthen healthcare delivery in the facility.
The donation is aimed at improving the hospital’s capacity to provide quality care to patients while creating a better working environment for health professionals.
Items presented to the hospital include four oxygen concentrators, five hospital beds, 13 boxes of gloves containing 195 packs, 15 boxes of surgical caps, hats and shoe covers comprising 5,066 pieces, as well as two boxes of Needle Mex.
The donation also included 50 packs of Perla water, three boxes of nose masks, two step-down transformers, three boxes of gauze, one centrifuge and two boxes of finger pulse oximeters.
In addition, Mr. Adjei donated 20 mop brushes and 11 mop buckets to support sanitation and hygiene at the facility.
Mr. Adjei described the intervention as his modest contribution towards ensuring that the Sampa Government Hospital is adequately equipped to serve patients and communities within its catchment area.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to improving healthcare delivery and supporting the work of health professionals at the hospital.
