The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced a GHS200 nomination fee for candidates seeking to contest any position in the party’s upcoming internal elections.
Director of Elections and IT for the NDC, Mahdi Gibril, said the nomination process will be conducted online and will be open to all eligible applicants.
According to him, the uniform fee applies to all positions, regardless of the level or office being contested.
Mr Gibril made this announcent in a statement posted on his Facebook wall on Tuesday August 18, 2026
He stressed that this announcement is expected to make the nomination process more accessible to all party members seeking to participate in the NDC’s internal elections.
Mr. Gibril urged interested members to take advantage of the online platform to submit their nominations when the process officially opens.
