The Ghana Medical Trust Fund(GMTF) is appealing to individuals, organisations and the general public to support patients battling cervical cancer who are unable to afford the cost of treatment.
Cervical cancer remains a significant health challenge in Ghana, placing a financial and emotional burden on affected women and their families.
The Fund said financial difficulties should not prevent patients from accessing essential medical care and is therefore encouraging the public to contribute towards supporting women who need treatment but lack the resources to pay for it.
According to the appeal, donations to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund will help provide essential care and support to patients facing cervical cancer and other financial challenges associated with treatment.
The Fund is urging the public to join the effort to give affected women hope and improve their chances of accessing timely healthcare.
It emphasised that every contribution, regardless of size, can make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
