President John Dramani Mahama is set to undertake a two-day “Resetting Ghana” tour of the Central Region on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, 2026, as part of efforts to monitor ongoing development projects and engage citizens.
According to a schedule released by the Regional Communication Office, Gabriella Tetteh, the tour will feature inspections of key infrastructure projects, healthcare facilities, and community engagement programmes across selected districts.
Day One Activities – Friday, June 26, 2026
The President will begin his tour at 11:00 a.m. with a sod-cutting ceremony at Assin Breku in the Assin North District.
At 1:00 p.m., he is expected to inspect the Nyamedom CHPS Compound and present Free Healthcare Kits to support service delivery at the facility.
This will be followed at 2:00 p.m. by an inspection of the ongoing GNAT hostel project at Polycamp Junction in the Cape Coast North Constituency.
At 3:00 p.m., President Mahama will visit the Kafodzidzi–Aburansa road project in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) Municipality.
He will conclude the day’s activities with a visit to the Cape Coast Castle at 3:30 p.m.
Day Two Activities – Saturday, June 27, 2026
On Saturday, the President will continue his tour with an inspection of the Apam–Mumford–Hweda–Dago–Otuam road project at 10:30 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., he will participate in a “Resetting Ghana” citizens’ engagement forum at the Mephiboseth Auditorium at Apam Junction.
At 3:00 p.m., he is expected to inspect the Winneba Junction underpass project.
