Branch elections for the governing National Democratic Congress(NDC) are scheduled to take place across the country from Saturday, June 20, to Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Party members are being encouraged to take note of their respective branch election dates, times, and venues within their constituencies ahead of the exercise, Director for Elections and IT, Mahdi Gibril has announced .
A statement accompanying the announcement urged members to remain engaged and participate actively in the internal elections, which are expected to strengthen grassroots organisation and party structures at the local level.
The message emphasised unity and collective responsibility, calling on members to work together “for party and country” as the elections approach.
