Permanent construction works on the 3 Junction–Onyansana–Ayikai Doblo Road are set to commence following sustained advocacy by the Member of Parliament for Amasaman, Mr Sedem Afenyo.
Ahead of the start of the project, the MP, together with the contractor, conducted an inspection of the road corridor to assess its current condition and identify the interventions needed to deliver a durable and high-quality road network.
According to the Office of the MP, the project will be executed by the same contractor that successfully completed the 3 Junction–Doblo Gonno road, a move expected to ensure continuity and quality in the delivery of the new road works.
In addition to constructing the new stretch, the contractor will also rehabilitate sections of the 3 Junction–Doblo Gonno Road that have deteriorated over time.
The rehabilitation works are intended to restore damaged portions of the road and preserve the quality and lifespan of the existing infrastructure.
The Office of the MP said the commencement of the project reflects Hon. Afenyo’s commitment to improving road infrastructure, enhancing connectivity, promoting economic activity and improving the living conditions of residents in the Amasaman Constituency.
Residents have been thanked for their patience and continued support, while the Office has appealed for their cooperation throughout the construction period to ensure the successful completion of the project.
