The first cohort of Specialist Nursing Trainees under the auspices of the Ministry of Health has returned to class after successfully completing their first-semester examinations and practical training at various teaching hospitals across the country.
The Ministry of Health, in a statement, commended the trainees for their commitment, dedication and hard work throughout the first phase of their training.
The trainees are expected to continue with the next phase of their specialist nursing education following the completion of their examinations and practical sessions.
The Ministry said it remains committed to strengthening specialist nursing education and improving professional standards among nurses in Ghana.
According to the Ministry, the initiative forms part of efforts to develop a highly skilled nursing workforce capable of delivering quality healthcare services to Ghanaians.
It wished the trainees continued success as they progress with their specialist training.
