GoldBod Jewellery is set to expand its presence in the Western Region with the opening of a new showroom in Takoradi in partnership with B-light Jewellery.
The new showroom will be officially unveiled on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Takoradi Mall.
Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, announced the development in a post on X, inviting the public to the launch.
“The wait is OVER! Authentic gold jewellery just found a new home in Takoradi!” he wrote.
He said the partnership with B-light Jewellery would make GoldBod Jewellery’s products more accessible to customers in the Western Region.
“In partnership with B-light Jewellery, we’re thrilled to open the doors to our brand-new showroom, bringing you stunning gold pieces, unbeatable quality, and the trusted GoldBod Jewellery promise… now closer than ever.”
Gyamfi also encouraged prospective customers to attend the unveiling, adding:
“Remember to bring your bank card and wallet. You won’t want to leave empty-handed!”
GoldBod Jewellery is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board focused on producing and marketing locally crafted gold and diamond jewellery.
The company says its products combine Ghanaian heritage with contemporary designs and are made from responsibly sourced Ghanaian gold.
It currently operates showrooms in Accra and Kumasi, with the Takoradi outlet expected to further expand its retail presence and promote local value addition in Ghana’s gold industry.
