The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Goldbod, Sammy Gyamfi Esq, has denied reports suggesting that the organization has entered into a partnership with Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited (SML) to sanitise the gold sector.
In a statement posted on Facebook on Thursday, May 15, Mr. Gyamfi described the reports as entirely false and urged the public to disregard them.
“Fake news alert: The Ghana Goldbod has no dealings, contract, partnership or relationship whatsoever with SML.
“Any such claim is completely false and should be treated with utmost contempt.”
