The Ghana Education Service (GES) has begun reviewing applications submitted under its ongoing recruitment exercise, with successful applicants expected to assume duty on August 31, 2026.
This was announced in a statement dated Tuesday, June 23, 2026, outlining the timelines for the recruitment process.
According to GES, the review of applications is expected to be completed by June 30, after which shortlisted candidates will be announced by July 20.
The Service said shortlisted applicants will undergo onboarding at the regional and district levels between July 20 and August 31 before taking up their appointments.
“We are currently reviewing all applications received to ensure that they satisfy the eligibility requirements outlined in the recruitment advertisement,” the statement noted.
GES expressed appreciation to all applicants for their interest in joining the Service and thanked them for their patience throughout the recruitment process.
“The Service appreciates your patience and understanding throughout the recruitment process and wishes all applicants the very best,” the statement added.
The announcement provides an update for thousands of applicants awaiting feedback on the recruitment exercise, which is expected to strengthen staffing across educational institutions nationwide.
