Aspiring First Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, has begun engagements with party delegates in the Ahafo Region as he seeks support for his bid to occupy the position.
Mr Abdul-Hamid, who is positioning himself for the party’s upcoming internal elections, met with regional and constituency executives to outline his vision for the NPP while also listening to their concerns and expectations.
According to him, the engagements are aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of what party officers want to see changed and the strategies they believe could help reposition the NPP ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He said the interactions had provided valuable insights into the challenges confronting the party and the need for a renewed approach to mobilisation, organisation and electoral strategy.
“I’m grateful to all the Regional and Constituency executives for making time to receive and listen to my message to them,” he said.
Mr Abdul-Hamid expressed confidence in the ongoing engagement and indicated that his campaign team would soon extend its outreach to other constituencies across the country.
“The journey continues. The train is on the move. Expect me and my team in your constituency soon,” he stated.
