Aspiring National First Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, has intensified his engagements with party members across several constituencies in the Greater Accra Region as he seeks to strengthen his bid for the position.
Over the past week, Dr Abdul-Hamid has engaged delegates and party stakeholders in Odododiodio, Korle Klottey, La Dadekotopon, Ayawaso North, Ayawaso East, Ablekuma North, Ablekuma South, Ablekuma Central, Ablekuma West, Okaikwei South, Okaikwei North, Ada, Sege and Ningo Prampram.
The engagements focused on strengthening party unity, building resilient party structures and preparing collectively for the 2028 general elections.
Dr Abdul-Hamid expressed appreciation to party members and delegates for the warm reception accorded him during his engagements.
He said the interactions provided an opportunity to listen to concerns from the grassroots and discuss ways of strengthening the party ahead of the next general election.
The former Information Minister said he remained committed to working with party members to promote unity and build stronger structures capable of supporting the NPP’s preparations for the 2028 elections.
