Oti Regional Minister, John Kwadwo Agyapong, has inspected the ongoing construction of the Dambai Bridge to assess progress on the major infrastructure project.

During the inspection, engineers working on the project briefed the Regional Minister on the various activities underway, including the construction of a temporary steel bridge to facilitate the development of the main bridge.

The main Dambai Bridge, which is expected to span approximately 1,500 metres, has so far recorded significant progress, with about 63 metres already completed.

Mr Agyapong commended the engineers and construction team for the pace of work and urged them to maintain the momentum to ensure the project is completed within the timeline stipulated in the contract.

He expressed confidence that the completed bridge would provide a vital transportation link for communities in the region, improve connectivity and contribute to economic development in the Oti Region.

The Dambai Bridge is expected to enhance the movement of people and goods while improving access between communities and boosting economic activity across the region.
