A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Aziz Donla, has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Regional Communication Officer for the Upper West Region.
In a statement of intent released to party members, Donla said his decision follows consultations and calls from party faithful.
“In response to numerous calls from various constituencies, friends and party faithful, and after careful introspection and the necessary consultations with the rank and file of our party, I, AZIZ DONLA, wish to declare my intention to contest for the position of Regional Communication Officer, Upper West Region,” he stated.
Donla highlighted his experience within the party, citing roles he has held over the years.
“Having served our party in various portfolios such as Wa East Constituency Communications Officer, TEIN President, UDS, 2019 and active member of the Regional Communication team from 2010 till date, I am of the firm conviction that I have gathered enough experiences to help me champion the cause of our beloved party.”
He emphasized the need for a more strategic communication approach, particularly in the current political climate.
Donla concluded by appealing for support from delegates and party members.
“I am therefore by this declaration OFFICIALLY requesting for your full support to become the next regional Communications Officer of the NDC for the UWR, and with the help of the MOST HIGH GOD, I shall not disappoint.”
