President John Dramani Mahama has joined family members of the late former President John Evans Atta -Mills at Asomdwee Park in the Greater Accra Region for a wreath-laying ceremony to mark the 14th anniversary of his death.
The ceremony was held in remembrance of the former president, who passed away on July 24, 2012, and was attended by family members, government officials, and other dignitaries.
President Mills, popularly known as “Asomdwehene” (King of Peace), served as Ghana’s third president under the Fourth Republic from 2009 until his passing.
The annual commemoration honours his legacy of peace, humility, and dedication to public service.
