The father-in-law of GoldBod Chief Executive Officer, Sammy Gyamfi Esq., has been reported dead after an alleged armed robbery attack.
Mr Karikari’s death has triggered an outpouring of condolences from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication team, particularly the party’s Regional Communication Officers and their deputies.
In a statement dated February 18, 2026, and signed by Richard Ernest Kirk-Mensah, Dean of the Regional Communication Officers and Deputies, the group said it was devastated by the incident and extended sympathy to Mr Gyamfi, his wife and the entire bereaved family.
They noted that party communicators across the country, including 16 Regional Communication Officers, their deputies and 276 Constituency Communication Officers, were united in mourning the loss.
The communicators also appealed to the Inspector-General of Police to treat the case with urgency, investigate the circumstances surrounding the killing and ensure the perpetrators are arrested and prosecuted.
