Lawyer Richard Asare Baffour has cautioned the public against linking the sudden death of his late colleague, Ali Adams, to the ongoing legal case involving Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, widely known as Nana Agradaa.
In a statement, Mr. Baffour clarified that although the late Adams was part of their law firm, he was not on the legal team that represented the repented fetish priestess and founder of Heaven Way Chapel International.
He recounted that he had spoken to Adams just hours before his passing on Saturday, during which the deceased had expressed joy over some interns at the firm successfully passing their final exams. According to him, Adams suddenly collapsed while having breakfast and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
“Ali was a devoted Muslim and was buried the same day. I want to emphasize that Ali was not involved in the team that worked on the Mama Pat’s case. In light of this, I urge the public to refrain from speculating about any connection between his passing and his professional work,” Mr. Baffour stressed.
He further appealed to the public to show compassion and avoid spreading unfounded rumours, especially considering the pain of Adams’ young family.
“Death is an inevitable part of life, and we will all face it someday. Let’s be kind and respectful in our comments, especially considering Ali’s young family. May his soul rest in peace,” he added.
