Babanawo Courage Kwabla has been elected Deputy Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ketu South Constituency of the Volta Region after securing 205 votes in the party’s 2026 constituency executive elections.
The final declaration of results showed that Kwabla defeated his contender, Allah Thomas Kwame, who obtained 80 votes.
A total of 285 valid votes were cast, with no rejected ballots recorded.
The election was held at G.E.C., Victory Chapel, Aflao, as part of the NDC’s constituency-level executive elections to select officers for the party’s local structures.
Kwabla’s victory places him in the Deputy Youth Organiser position, where he is expected to work with other constituency executives to support the party’s youth organisation in Ketu South
