Firefighters are battling an ongoing blaze at the DuraPlast factory in Accra’s North Industrial Area.
The Ghana National Fire Service has deployed personnel to the facility as efforts continue to contain the fire, with additional fire tenders expected to arrive with more water.
Police officers are also at the scene providing security and helping to manage the situation.
The National Ambulance Service has been placed on standby to respond to any emergency.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage remain unknown as firefighting operations continue.
