Acting Minister for Defence and Minister for Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has delivered the welcome address at the maiden public lecture held in honour of the late Dr Edward Omane Boamah.
The event brought together government officials, family members, friends, and other dignitaries to celebrate the life and legacy of the former minister for Defence, who was widely recognised for his service to the nation.
In his address, Dr Ato Forson described Dr Omane Boamah as an exceptional gentleman whose life was defined by integrity, patriotism, and selfless service to Ghana.
He said the memorial lecture was not only an opportunity to remember the late statesman but also to celebrate his enduring contributions to national development and public service.
Dr Ato Forson expressed the hope that Dr Omane Boamah’s legacy would continue to inspire both present and future generations of leaders to serve the country with courage, humility, and unwavering dedication.
