Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOSTenergies), Afetsi Awoonor, has represented Ghana at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, where global energy leaders gathered to discuss the future of the energy sector and efforts to expand access to reliable electricity.
Mr. Awoonor participated in a high-level panel discussion focused on electrification and the goal of delivering energy access to all, bringing Ghana’s perspective to the international conversation on the evolving global energy landscape.
His participation placed BOSTenergies among stakeholders engaging on issues surrounding universal energy access, electrification and the transformation of energy systems to meet growing demand.
The discussions at Gastech 2026 provided a platform for industry leaders, policymakers and energy experts from different parts of the world to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of energy.
For Ghana, Mr. Awoonor’s participation offered an opportunity to highlight the country’s experience and priorities in the energy sector while engaging with international stakeholders on pathways towards broader and more sustainable access to energy.
