The Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, Myriam Montrat, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to discuss areas of mutual interest and explore opportunities to strengthen cooperation in peace and security.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two sides to exchange views on emerging security challenges and the need for stronger international collaboration to address threats that increasingly transcend national borders.
The discussions focused on the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and sharing expertise in responding to evolving security threats.
Both sides underscored the need for continued collaboration among countries and international partners to promote peace, stability and security in the face of increasingly complex and cross-border challenges.
