The family of Ivan Baidoo, a Level 200 law student of Central University, has offered a GH¢50,000 reward for credible information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person or persons allegedly responsible for his death in a hit-and-run accident.
Ivan was reportedly knocked down by a vehicle on the Tema Motorway on August 27, 2026.
According to the family, the driver allegedly fled the scene after the incident, leaving Ivan seriously injured.
His death has since prompted the family to appeal to members of the public for information that could assist the authorities in identifying the vehicle and driver involved.
The GH¢50,000 reward, the family said, will be given for credible information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the alleged culprit or culprits.
The family is particularly appealing to eyewitnesses and anyone who may have information about the circumstances surrounding the incident to come forward.
Information can be provided via +233 20 250 4411, with the family assuring informants that their identities and information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
The family is hopeful that public assistance will help the relevant authorities establish what happened and bring those responsible to justice.
Anyone with credible information is urged to come forward and help bring the alleged perpetrator to book.
