The Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has held discussions with the management of GOIL PLC aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two state-linked energy institutions and improving security in the supply of petroleum products.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of GOIL PLC, Edward Abambire Bawa, together with members of his Executive Management Team, visited the management of TOR for the engagement.
The discussions focused on enhancing petroleum products supply security, strengthening resilience within Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector and contributing to greater stability in prices at the pump.
Management of TOR led by Edmund Kombat in a remark said the partnership with GOIL is critical to building a more efficient, reliable and resilient downstream petroleum industry while supporting Ghana’s broader energy security objectives.
He said the refinery remains committed to working with key stakeholders across the petroleum sector to advance the national interest and ensure reliable access to petroleum products for consumers.
TOR and GOIL are expected to translate the outcome of the discussions into concrete actions aimed at delivering sustainable benefits to Ghana’s petroleum industry and consumers.
