One of the suspects linked to the alleged burglary at the residence of former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan reportedly used the stolen pistol to commit murder and later assault a man and his wife.
The development emerged as two suspects connected to the alleged burglary appeared before the Kwabenya Circuit Court, where proceedings in the case are continuing.
The suspects are accused of being involved in the burglary at Asamoah Gyan’s residence, during which his pistol and other valuables were reportedly stolen.
According to details emerging from the case, the stolen firearm was allegedly subsequently used by one of the suspects in a murder.
The same suspect is also alleged to have used the weapon in a separate incident involving the assault of a man and his wife.
The revelations have added a serious dimension to the burglary case, with investigators tracing the stolen firearm to subsequent alleged criminal activities.
The two suspects have since appeared before the Kwabenya Circuit Court as investigations and legal proceedings continue.
