Aspiring National Communication Officer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Miracles Aboagye, is set to formally file his nomination for the position on Thursday.
Mr Aboagye is expected to submit his nomination at 12:00 noon, as he seeks to lead the party’s communications machinery ahead of the NPP’s national executive elections.
The former Communications Director for Bawumia for President 2024 general election has positioned his campaign around the message “Facts | Fire | Strategy,” signalling his focus on fact-based communication, an energetic defence of the party’s positions and a strategic approach to political messaging.
His formal filing will mark another major step in his campaign as he engages party delegates and stakeholders in his bid to secure the National Communication Officer position.
Mr Aboagye is expected to outline his vision for the role and his strategy for strengthening the NPP’s communications structure as the party works to rebuild its electoral fortunes and prepare for the 2028 general elections.
The nomination filing is also expected to provide an opportunity for his supporters and party activists to rally behind his bid as the contest for the party’s national executive positions gathers momentum.
